Beer and Wine Percentages

Garnish Calculator Guidance

To help the calculator generate realistic estimates, industry-standard consumption percentages are used:

Beer, Wine, & Liquor Events:

Beer Drinkers: 30%

Wine Drinkers: 20%

Liquor / Signature Cocktail Drinkers: 50-60%

Beer & Wine Events Only:

Beer Drinkers: 60%

Wine Drinkers: 40%

To accurately estimate garnish needs for your signature cocktails:

Determine the number of signature cocktails.

Identify which garnishes are needed for each cocktail.

Add a 10% buffer for beer garnishes, such as limes.

Example:

3 signature cocktails

2 of 3 require limes

2 of 3 require cherries

1 of 3 requires lemon

Input for the calculator:

66% of cocktails need lime

66% of cocktails need cherries

33% of cocktails need lemon
